GearHub Wins Customer Service Award

Last Friday, October 25, the GearHub team was thrilled to be awarded the Fernie Chamber of Commerce 2019 Fernie Business Excellence Award for Outstanding Customer Service, sponsored by the Columbia Basin Trust.

This is GearHub's second time winning in this category, making us the only business to ever win this category twice!

The Business Excellence Awards have been awarded by the Fernie Chamber of Commerce every year since 2009. Fernie businesses are nominated in late summer, and nominees then submit an application which is judged by a panel of business professionals from outside the Fernie area (to remove bias).

GearHub has been a finalist several times over the years, and has previously won three Business Excellence Awards. Two were in 2011 - our very first year of operation - when we took home the New Business of the Year Award and the Outstanding Customer Service Award. The other was in 2014, when GearHub proudly took home the Retail Excellence Award.

We would like to say a huge “THANK-YOU!” to the community for the continued support. We are looking forward to continuing to grow with this amazing community for many years to come!
