We’re thrilled to announce that Gearhub Sports x FTA Volunteer Recognition Program is back for another season — and it’s better than ever!

At GearHub Sports, we believe in supporting the people who make our trail systems thrive. That’s why we’re partnering once again with the Fernie Trails Alliance (FTA) to recognize and reward the hard-working volunteers who help keep our trails running strong.

Give Back, Get Gear

You don’t have to be training for an ultra-marathon or clocking the fastest descent on Project 9 to earn your spot in this program. All it takes is a willingness to give back to the trails and community that give us so much in return.

Here’s how it works:
The more time you spend volunteering with the FTA — whether it's trail maintenance, helping out at events, or working on special projects — the more you’ll save at GearHub Sports. Volunteers can earn discounts on gear, service, and rentals, making it easier to stay equipped and inspired for your next ride, hike, or adventure.

Why It Matters

The Fernie Trails Alliance relies on dedicated community members to help maintain and improve the vast trail network we’re lucky to have at our doorstep. From clearing debris and building new features to supporting events that bring our outdoor community together, volunteers are the backbone of everything FTA does.

By recognizing their efforts with meaningful rewards, we hope to not only say thank you — but also inspire even more people to get involved.
