Return Policy

 

We are grateful for your time spent with us and the GearHub team wants to make sure that you are best outfitted for your next adventure.  That is why we offer a NO HASSLE 30 DAY FROM PURCHASE RETURN POLICY. Keep in mind that new products also may have manufacturer’s warranties.

 

Items must be unused, free of wear and tear and in original packaging.

 

Seeing as we are a small, family-run business, shipping will be the buyer’s expense. If you live near our store, you’re more than welcome to drop by and return your product for a full product refund (minus shipping fees) and a smile.  

 

Returns - BC E-Bike Rebate Program

We do not accept returns from customers who participate in the BC E-Bike Rebate Program. We cannot provide you with a cash, debit refund, credit card refund, cash equivalent gift card or merchandise credit. Please make sure your decision to purchase an E-Bike is final.


Exchanges - BC E-Bike Rebate Program

If you are a customer who participated in the BC E-Bike Rebate Program and your E-Bike is in some way defective, it may only be exchanged for another E-Bike of equal value (same cost/price) or higher.

Please contact us for a Return Authorization Number to reduce delays in processing.  All returns made without prior authorization will warrant a restocking fee of 20% your purchase price.

2. What is the time limit on returns?

 

We are happy to process returns 30 days from the date of purchase.  We can also process or help guide you through processing manufacturer's warranties against manufacturer’s defects.    Please contact our store by email [email protected] or phone 250.423.5555 to this end.

 

 

3. Can I return something I bought online at my local store?

 

Most certainly and we’ll be glad you stopped by!

 

 

4. I don’t live near the GearHub.  How do I make a return or exchange?

 

a) You can request a return from your online store account or give us a call at 250.423.5555.

5. What if I have worn/used the item? / Warranties

 

That depends:  

a) Worn/used items cannot be returned unless you live near our brick and mortar store and opt to re-sell your item through our consignment process.

b) If your item has a manufacturing defect in its materials or workmanship, it may be covered by a separate warranty from the manufacturer. In the case of a warranty, we are happy to assist you through this process and please do reach out to us for further instructions, as these vary depending on the manufacturer.  The cost of returning the item to us or the manufacturer is the responsibility of the customer, however, we cover the cost of getting the replacement item back to you. 

 

 

6. What if I want to return a gift that doesn’t suit me?

 

This is a bit of a tricky, logistic-type situation for online sales, as we can only issue a refund to the person who purchased your gift.
