1.2 Shipping Pricing & Insurance
We love to empower our customers and let them make choices on their preferred carriers and timelines. This is why you are presented with multiple shipping avenues, prices and timelines to suit your needs once you fill in your address at checkout. Shipping quotes are based on the dimensions of your order and destination and are directly generated from Canada Post for Canadian orders and DHL for international orders. All shipments are insured to their order's value up to $5000 and all orders over $150 will require a signature for the release of the parcel.
We offer flat rate, insured bicycle shipping across Canada, excluding Yukon, the North West Territories and Nunavut. Children's bicycles and international sales are quoted at checkout.

1.3 Shipping Timelines & Bike Shipments
Orders will be shipped within 1-3 business days of customer transactions. If your order requires immediate and expedited shipment, please contact our store at 250.423.5555 following your transaction and we'll be happy to help. Weather delays and unforeseen circumstances may impact delivery times, for which the GearHub is not responsible or liable. Estimated arrival dates at checkout are therefore more like guidelines and unfortunately cannot be guaranteed.
Bike shipments: Your new bike will be shipped within 3-5 days, as our shop technicians will have assembled, inspected, and tuned your new wheels to ensure that you are getting the quality assurance all our customers deserve. The shipment will be insured up to $5000 and will require a signature for the release of the parcel. Shipping companies usually take 3-7 business days to deliver (this timeline cannot be guaranteed by Gearhub Sports, as weather, peak shipping times, and unexpected shipping delays may occur.)
2 Fernie Mountain Biking and Fat Biking
2.1 Where should I Mountain Bike in Fernie?
Mountain Biking in Fernie is a year-round sport, with fat biking in the winter months, and over 100 trails to choose from in the summer months, along with a fantastic Skills Park, Dirt Jump Park, and Downhill Bike Park (Fernie Alpine Resort).

3.1 What is your return policy?
We are grateful for your time spent with us and the GearHub team wants to make sure that you are best outfitted for your next adventure. That is why we offer a NO HASSLE 30 DAY FROM PURCHASE RETURN POLICY. Keep in mind that new products also may have manufacturer’s warranties.
Items must be unused, free of wear and tear and in original packaging.
Seeing as we are a small, family-run business, return shipping will be the buyer’s expense. If you live near our store, you’re more than welcome to drop by and return your product for a full refund and a smile.

- You can request a return from your online store account or give us a call at 250.423.5555.
- We will then provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA #.) Please complete the Return Form here to reduce delays in processing. All returns made without prior authorization and an RMA# will warrant a restocking fee of 20% your purchase price.

3.2 What is the time limit on returns?
We are happy to process returns 30 days from the date of purchase. We can also process or help guide you through processing manufacturer's warranties against manufacturer’s defects. Please contact our store by email [email protected] or phone 250.423.5555 to this end.
3.3 Can I return something I bought online at my local store?
Most certainly and we’ll be glad you stopped by!
3.4 I don't live near the GearHub. How do I make a return or exchange?
a) You can request a return from your online store account or give us a call at 250.423.5555.

Your return will be looked over for wear and tear and if it looks like it did when we shipped it to you, your refund will be processed within 7 days of being delivered to GearHub Sports. You will be notified by email when it is complete.
3.5 Do I need any forms for my return?
Yes. Please complete the Return Form HERE and return it with your item to reduce delays in processing. All returns made without prior authorization and an RMA# will warrant a restocking fee of 20% your purchase price.
3.6 What if I have worn / used the item?
That depends. If your item has a manufacturing defect in its materials or workmanship, you can contact us to see if it may be covered by a separate warranty from the manufacturer. In this case, you can return the item and we are happy to assist you through this process. Worn/used items cannot be returned unless you live near our brick and mortar store and opt to re-sell your item through our consignment process.
3.7 What if I want to return a gift that doesn't suit me?
This is a bit of a tricky, logistic-type situation for online sales. We can only issue a refund to the person who purchased your gift and will require the purchase receipt.
