Kick off your Fernie ski season with a bush party in honour of the Griz!

The Mogul Smoker has been a Fernie tradition since 1976. Every year, to honour the Griz (who brings the pow!) locals gather in the woods to dance the night away. Originally featuring a huge bonfire fuelled by old skis, the modern Mogul Smoker favours more environmentally-friendly projections and that make for an equally (or maybe even more) impressive light show.

GearHub staff members and local DJs Caleb Brown and Sam Moffat are leading the Mogul smoker team again this year. Known together as the DJ duo "Naturalist", these brothers are known for laying down their signature space disco beats at festivals like Shambhala and Wicked Woods, and recently won the Kootenay Music Awards' coveted "Artist of the Year" award earlier in the year. Caleb & Sam anticipate 2019 will be the best Mogul Smoker yet, with a new (secret) location on private land, TWO stages (for the first time ever) and some big names signed on to perform!

2019 Mogul Smoker Details:

Date: November 16, 2019

Tickets are on sale starting October 1st - available only at GearHub in Fernie.
The first 200 tickets are $30. The rest are $40.
This event will sell out so get your tickets early.
There are NO online tickets available.

Tickets get you a bus ride to and from the undisclosed event location. 

The location will not be released. NO DRIVING.
