The holidays have snuck up on us once again, and with it comes getting gifts for the special ones in our lives (and your coworker because you begrudgingly agreed to the office Secret Santa). Buying gifts can be tough, so we thought we’d throw together this guide to help take some stress off your plate. Any one of these gifts will be sure to earn you the title of best sibling/aunt/uncle/parent/friend/coworker!
These are some of our favourites, but there is so much more! Click on any of the category headings for a more complete collection of gifts in the Gift Guide Section of our page!

We’re all guilty of taking off our helmet at the end of a long day at the ski hill and throwing it in the back of our car, goggles still firmly attached. Rather than relying on steady aim and hope that your goggles won’t get scratched, a GoggleSoc ensures that your goggles go unharmed. GoggleSocs come in almost unlimited colours/patterns that will be sure to suit anyone in your life!

If you know someone who owns leather ski gloves, they should also own leather balm. Leather is known for its leather resistant properties, but leather also breaks down over time. Hestra Leather Balm will extend the life of the glove by renewing its water resistance and keeping the leather supple by not letting it dry out.

If your special someone owns a bike, chances are they care about how it looks. One of the easiest, most cost effective ways of updating the aesthetics on the bike is by replacing some cockpit parts. Wolftooth Headset Spacers and Groundkeeper Topcaps add a splash of colour to the bike!

Buy someone a single hex (or torx) key? I know it's a little weird but hear me out: the biker in your life is well prepared and already owns a multitool, but actually using a multitool for trailside repair adds frustration to an already frustrating experience. Now imagine pulling out a purpose built tool that is able to make repairs without busted knuckles. Now imagine that tool is the best hex key they’ve ever used, they’ll be crashing on purpose just to use it. 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm are the most common bolt sizes on a bike so you could get them one of each if you really wanted to win some brownie points!

Tire levers are an easy addition to any bike pack. If your giftee already has tire levers, they can always have more, they’re a versatile tool! Need to pry off a freehub but don’t want to mark it? Tire lever. Push in your brake calipers for a bleed? Tire lever. Open an apres ride beverage? Tire lever. These levers from Continental are bright yellow so they’ll be easy to find in a toolbox, bike pack, or glovebox.

Like the tire levers above, a bike rider can never have too much chain lube on hand. A drivetrain should be lubed every few rides which adds up over the course of a season! Muc-off and Godfather’s garage are our favourites, Godfather’s Garage even makes an e-bike specific lube!

Someone once told me that a perfect gift is something that someone wants, but would never buy for themselves. The Primus TrailSpork is a perfect example of this, I mean who wouldn’t want a titanium spork? Does it do anything better than a fork or spoon that they have at home? Not really, but it’s lighter, it can live in the trail bag of your giftee without guilt, and it's just really cool to say “I own a titanium spork.”

The Pit Viper Retention Improvement Gear (RIG) improves the eyewear-cranium bond so that your giftee never loses their precious sunnies at an inopportune time. If your special someone skis, bikes, climbs, runs, goes fishing, hikes, breathes, walks, or all of the above, they should have a RIG.

Chances are your city has a bylaw requiring a bell or noise maker of some kind to ride on public paths, and if there isn’t a bylaw, a bell makes notifying people that you’re passing them so much easier. A bike bell has the added benefit of adding some style and flair to your townie!

Pit Vipers for babies. The Baby Vipes feature the same UV protective lens as the originals but without the removable parts, eliminating swallow hazard. An adjustable elastic strap and miniature size makes these the perfect Pit Vipers for babies aged 6-9 months. Or older. Or younger. These make a sweet addition to a gift lineup for new parents.

The EVOC Race Belt was designed with fast and light in mind. If you know someone who’s getting into gravel biking or cross country, this is for them. Even for the average mountain biker, this pack is perfect for those rides that are short enough where you don't need extra water, but long enough that tools/a snack become mandatory.

As much as we’d love for our favourite grips to last forever, bike grips are unfortunately a consumable item that get worn down over time. We all know someone with grips that are far past their prime, so give them an unexpected refresh.

A slope meter is a must have for backcountry enthusiasts. While there are apps out there that allow you to use your phone, taking your gloves off and pulling your phone out in sub zero temperatures becomes less than fun really quick. The more accessible a tool is, the more you’ll use it, so give the gift of backcountry safety to your special someone this winter.

We’ll put these into the category of things that no one really needs, but are way too cool to leave on the shelf. I’d love to tell you that they’re lighter and stiffer than traditional bolts, but the real reason you’d buy them is because of the anodization and the ability to say that you use titanium parts on your bike.

With Darn Tough Socks, you're giving a lifetime of socks. Darn Tough has a lifetime guarantee, meaning that if their socks give up, your giftee can get another pair for free, no questions asked. The socks are made from merino wool, which is known for its moisture wicking properties to keep you warm during physical activity, its breathability, and its odor resistance, all properties that are perfect for a ski/snowboard sock.

There’s nothing more frustrating than a hole in your sock, so why keep the most durable sock to just skiing? The Darn Tough Everyday socks have the same warranty as the rest of their socks, meaning the socks will outlast the shoes that they go into.

Baklava? Balaclava? Baller clavicle? Who knows? What we do know is this mask will perform and look oh so good doing it. Black face masks are boring, so why not give something with a little bit of style?

As much as we all want to believe that giving our bikes a once over with the garden hose after a ride will keep our bike clean, the gummed up drivetrain and dirt caked into our suspension says otherwise. This brush kit will make it easy to get into all the nooks and crannies of a bike and make sure it’s actually clean.

OneUp sells these straps as a way to attach accessories to a bike frame, but the only thing that will hold you back with these straps is your imagination. They work as ski straps, keeping you skins wrapped up in your bag,

Are you constantly stuck at the trailhead waiting for your special someone to put the optimal pressure in their tires? Get them a gift you’ll both love then! The Lezyne Alloy Drive Pump pumps up tires 30% faster than most traditional mini pumps, which means less time pumping, and more time riding bikes.

Who doesn’t love a gift that runs double duty? The Evo Storm Shock/Tire Pump has two modes: a low volume for dialling in your shock pressure, and a high volume that lets you pump up your tire. This is perfect for the trailside tinkerer and first time mountain biker alike!

You’ve already learned about the wonders of Wera tools as a single hex key, now you can get your special someone the full experience! You're not just giving them any old hex set, your giving them the best hex set they’ll own.

Riding your local trail system with a good pair of sunglasses is all fine and wonderful, but when you get onto lift serviced terrain, sometimes you need an extra seal to make sure you keep dust and dryness out of your eyes. In comes the Loam MTB Goggle from Smith, if your special someone heads out to the resort to ride a handful of times, give them some better eye protection without breaking the bank!

As outdoor enthusiasts, we spend lots of time and money dialling in a layering system for our bodies, but somehow neglect layering for the parts of our bodies that get cold the quickest, our hands! The Hestra Touch Point Warmth Liner gives your hands a little boost of warmth on the coldest days, and works as a phenomenal touring glove all season long!

The Fall Line series from Hestra is the industry standard in what a freeride glove should be. Removable liners mean easy drying, foam insulation on the back of the hand means warmth without the risk of the insulation getting packed out, and full leather construction that stands the test of time. The Fall Line is for people who want to give their special someone the best of the best.

The Smith Squad Goggle is one of the best selling goggles in the Smith lineup, and for good reason. For $155, your special someone will receive all the top of the line technologies like ChromaPop and two Carbonic-X lenses with Fog-X antifog (one bright, one lowlight). Additionally, your special someone will be one of the best looking on the mountain!

The Deuter Freerider 30 backpack is the swiss army knife of backpacks. It's of course first and foremost a ski touring backpack, and it does it incredibly well. But that's nowhere near the limit, it's a hiking, climbing, mountaineering, snowshoeing pack all wrapped into one. This is the gift that keeps on giving!

The Fubuki Niseko 3.0 is the warmest, lightest snow boot you can get! If your special someone has feet, they should have Fubuki boots on them during the winter months. No one likes cold, wet feet!
