RETAIL ASSOCIATE - BIKE SPECIALIST

We’re currently looking for a Bike Sales Specialist to join our experienced and energetic team.

The Role

As a Bike Sales Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while sharing your passion and expertise for bikes. You’ll help riders find the right gear, guide them through the sales process, and build lasting relationships within the local riding community.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience & Sales

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to every customer 
• Guide customers through the entire bike and gear purchasing process
• Share your passion and expertise for bikes, components, and accessories
• Build authentic relationships with customers and the local riding community

Retail Operations

• Support front-line retail duties including POS, rentals, consignment, and general customer service
• Complete opening and closing procedures
• Maintain organized displays and a welcoming sales floor
• Accurately complete paperwork, forms, and system entries

Team Support

• Work closely with the senior sales team to achieve store goals
• Follow through on tasks assigned by management
• Assist customers by directing them to the appropriate team members when needed
• Contribute to daily task lists and operational priorities

Product Knowledge

• Maintain a strong understanding of bikes, components, and accessories
• Stay current on new products and industry trends
• Confidently answer customer questions and help solve gear problems

What We’re Looking For

• Passion for mountain biking and the outdoor lifestyle
• Strong knowledge of mountain bikes, components, and gear
• Previous experience in bike or outdoor retail preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
• Familiarity with the Fernie trail network is a strong asset
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
